Lindsay Adams' "Dead Zone" Reading Aug 19

The Midwest Dramatists Center will present a reading of Lindsay Adams' Dead Zone at 7pm, Aug 19 at the Second Presbyterian Church at 55th and Brookside (318 E 55th St).

An eco-comedy about humans, dragonflies and everything in between, Dead Zone not only looks at class, pollution, and terrorism, but asks the important questions… What does it truly mean to coexist? How far are we willing to go to enact change? And how do you get your creepy co-worker to stop hitting on you? Dead Zone is a comically brutal play about how far we will go to protect those we love and the places we call home.

Directed by Teresa Leggard. Featuring: Junior: Jerry MaƱan / Ma: Diane Bulan / Dirk: Richard J. Burt / Darby: Deanna Mazdra / Harley: Bri Walker / Ziggs: Kater Tot / Grey: Amy Elizabeth Attaway / Cleaver: Roan Ricker
