David Hanson's "Calliope's Game" Reading Dec. 14

A character from a novel is released to live in the world for one year. At the end of the year, the character can decide to go back or stay. If he stays, the book and all the good that came from it vanishes. The stakes are high as Gods, Lawyers, and Thieves literally fight over the stories of mere mortals. Calliope's Game is an immersive theater experience following the war the Muse Calliope has declared on ungrateful authors.

Monday, December 14, at the Writer's Place, 3607 Pennsylvania. The reading begins at 7:00pm and will be followed by a talkback with the playwright, director, and cast. As with all MDC readings, no reservations required and it's free! Donations appreciated.
