New Year's means New Location, New Time, New Night
2018 has been a year of change for Midwest Dramatists Center. We successfully hosted our second annual national playwriting conference. One of our founding members moved away, transitioning from being a vital part of day-to-day operations to a position on the advisory board.
Now The Writers Place has closed the doors on the castle on Pennsylvania, and we must vacate the beautiful stone building in the Valentine neighborhood that was our home for four years. We are sad to be moving away from it, but we are excited for what the future holds.

While we work diligently to procure a new permanent home, we have found a wonderful host for our 2019 Reading Series.
Starting in January, join us at our new time and place: 6:30 p.m. on the 3rd Monday of each month at the Uptown Arts Bar. 3611 Broadway Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64111. Uptown Arts Bar opens at 6:00 p.m.
