MDC to host public reading August 11: Vicki Vodrey's "Thank You Notes"

Midwest Dramatists Center will host a staged reading of Thank You Notes: Heading to Heaven with Flat Jimmy Fallon, by Vicki Vodrey, on Monday, August 11, at 7:30 p.m. The 60-minute performance is directed by Sidonie Garrett and features Jessica Ryan, Jeff Smith, and Mandy Mook.

Vodrey's dark comedy about a fantastical funeral has been a favorite among audiences and reviewers wherever it has been staged. This is your chance to see it--or see it again--and interact directly with the playwright as she revamps the script for potential productions in New York and elsewhere.
